June 22 – Calvin is a rural township between the Mattawa River Provincial Park & the Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park, along a beautiful stretch of the Mattawa River with spectacular canoeing opportunities.  

From the highway, pretty views of the river & lakes can be seen.  A little further away, paddle a canoe through the meandering water.

This is the bottom of the falls at the Talon Chutes where the water flows into Pimisi Lake and the Mattawa River.
