trees in floodpond |
Jan 8 – I
haven’t yet reached Regina, the capital city of Saskatchewan, and tomorrow I
will have “travelled” past it. This spot
of the Trans-Canada Highway, 13 miles past my last rest stop, is not anywhere near the town of Richardson, but it’s within the
postal code.
I was interested in the way the flooding near the highway was indistinguishable from the small pond behind, and the few trees here indicate that this moisture is fairly constant. (Another view of local soil saturation.)
